New Team Members and Role Changes
While a lot of companies in Michigan are cutting staff and downsizing, we're very happy to announce that during these tough times, we've been able to hire new staff and continue to grow and develop our team.
Core3 Solutions is proud to welcome Katie Miller as our new Dispatch Technician. Katie's organization and communication skills will help keep the computer services team focused and driven. The web development crew is excited to bring Will Rush on board as a Programmer. Will's years of experience and thirst for knowledge will surely bring great value to the web development side of our business. Finally, Curtis Hays has been appointed Director of Business Development to lead the charge in keeping our current customers up to date and helping new customers find the company they have been looking for.

Curtis Hays (Director of Business Development)
Since joining Core3 four years ago, Curtis has been instrumental in the growth of the computer services department. His expertise in Small Business Technologies like Microsoft Small Business Server and Microsoft Exchange allowed Core3 to enter new markets and provide our existing customers with new solutions.
Curtis is an effective communicator and is highly experienced in identifying the needs of customers while providing them with cost effective solutions, vowing to never over-sell. The overall focus of this position will be to improve sales opportunities by increasing the awareness of Core3 Solutions and its capabilities with existing and potential clients in the marketplace. Curtis will be developing strategies for building relationships with clients, vendors, and technology partners while continually identifying potential markets and/or business opportunities for Core3. The management of the computer services department has been turned over to Paul Chambers and the lead technician for servers and networking is now Jeff Archambeau.
We are also pleased to announce that Curtis and his wife Stefanie are expecting their first baby in February. The new addition to their family will most likely begin working at Core3 in March.
Katie Miller (Dispatch Technician)
Katie is a highly organized and motivated individual with five years experience in the mortgage industry where she worked her way up from marketing assistant to a production manager. Katie recently entered the technology field and has just has started classes in Information Technology. Her attention to detail, organization and excellent customer service skills will be a warm welcome to a growing department.
The responsibilities of the dispatch technician are to receive, assign, escalate and track customer tickets that are received by the department. As time progresses the position will grow into inventory and order management, customer follow-up and satisfaction, including some technical support. We are very excited to have Katie on the team and are already realizing her potential.
Will Rush (Web Developer/Programmer)
Will brings server years of professional experience in development where he has used a wide variety of web tools and languages including PHP and MySQL. Will also brings Linux experience as he has designed and built RedHat servers.
His addition to the team will allow senior programmer and CTO Ryan Shaltry the time to concentrate on researching and developing new applications and technologies that we will be able to provide to our customers. Will is a student of Graphic Design and Technology at Washtenaw Community College and is expected to complete his Associates by the end of 2008. Will plays guitar and sings for a metal rock band called Misconceived. The development team already has Will knee deep in projects and is eager to absorb the knowledge he offers and brings to the table.
