Phishing scheme for Google Adwords
Phishing schemes are an attempt to aquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit cards information, etc, by pretending to be a trustworth entity through electronic communication (i.e. email). One of our clients sent us an email phishing scheme targetted at Google Adwords users. Fortunately they were smart enough to identify the scheme before entering their information.
Below is a copy of the email. You'll notice the circled part, which tipped us off that this wasn't really from Google but from somebody hoping you would think it's Google.
They even created a full web site that mimic's Google's, in hopes you would enter your information for them to take. Beware of these types of schemes!
