It seems as though our office expansion is coming along very well. The crew we hired for the job flew right through the demo and rough framing and it almost feels like the space could be done tomorrow (even though I know we're still very far from that)! It is very exciting to see it all coming together though. I can't compliment Doug Leahy from GETA Design ( www.getadesign.net) enough for the great job he did designing the space. After months of planning, budgeting, and arguing over paint colors, construction on our office space expansion is set to begin this week, pending approval from the City of course!
The project will be a redevelopment of over 50 percent of the building's lower level into what is best described as an "electronics boutique" with a customer lounge and easy-access service desk. I personally think the best part of the project though will be the expanded technician service space.
This move is really a great way for us to provide our customers with greater accessibility to our products and services. It also positions us to better compete with service providers such as Best Buy's Geek Squad and Circuit City's Firedog....
